Vinted Users Voice Frustration Regarding Sizing Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are posting online saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches other platforms.
It has advised users to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Changes
Before the change, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Required Changes
A different user, from Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Marketplace Information
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: earlier, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
