'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently halfway through the four-year contract he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the first significant trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
